Do some meal planning!
Rather than having to give away or worse, waste food, if you do not want to pack it and take it with you, plan your meals in advance to use it up. Especially focus on heavy items like frozen meats and cans so you can lighten the load if you are packing it up. Take a close look at what you have and decide what you can eat and drink in the days before the big day. Pack your own things
